About performance:  Udal (The Body) is an expression of the resistance, resurrection and celebration of oppressed human bodies. The performance seeks to give voice to the various discriminations we face based on markers such as gender, language, class, financial status, colour and education. Udal attempts to convey the reactions these discriminations evoke in our body and mind. The performance incorporates Theyyam, Yakshagana and Thulunadan Kalari along with contemporary dance movements to narrate its story.
